Keiichi Fukuda, CEO, to Present 52-Week Topline Results from the LAPiS Study in an Invited Lecture at the ESC Congress 2026
Keiichi Fukuda, M.D., Ph.D., President and CEO of Heartseed Inc., will be speaking at the ESC Congress 2026, to be held in Munich, Germany, from August 28 to 31, 2026.

The ESC (European Society of Cardiology) Congress is the world's largest scientific meeting in the field of cardiovascular medicine, an international congress that attracts more than 30,000 cardiovascular professionals and stakeholders every year.
Dr. Fukuda has been invited to deliver a lecture titled "Induced pluripotent stem cells therapy for heart failure" in the session "Advanced therapies for myocardial repair and regeneration," which focuses on innovative treatments for heart failure that are garnering global attention.
Under the title "Induced pluripotent stem cells therapy for heart failure," his presentation will introduce HS-001, Heartseed's therapeutic program using allogeneic iPS cell-derived cardiomyocyte spheroids currently under development for severe heart failure due to ischemic heart disease. He will also present the 52-week topline results from the Phase clinical 1/2 trial (LAPiS Study), which was conducted to evaluate the safety and efficacy of the therapy.
Sharing the 52-week topline results with the global cardiovascular community and demonstrating the potential of cardiac regeneration therapy holds profound significance for Heartseed's development program.
