Keiichi Fukuda, M.D., Ph.D., President and CEO of Heartseed Inc., will be speaking at an international conference organized by Keystone Symposia, to be held from January 26 to 29, 2026, at the Kyoto International Conference Center, Japan.

Marking the 20th anniversary of the discovery of iPSCs, the U.S.-based nonprofit organization Keystone Symposia on Molecular and Cellular Biology will host the conference titled "iPSCs: Progress, Opportunities, and Challenges".

The meeting will bring together leading researchers, clinicians, and industry experts, venture capitalists and others from around the world to reflect on the progress of iPSC research and to discuss iPSC applications now advancing into clinical trials and the challenges involved.

The scientific organizer of the conference includes Shinya Yamanaka, M.D., Ph.D., a pioneer of iPSC research and Nobel Laureate (Director Emeritus and Professor, Center for iPS Cell Research and Application (CiRA), Kyoto University; Senior Investigator, Gladstone Institutes).

The meeting features sessions focused on clinical trials of iPSC-derived products. Dr. Fukuda will speak in the session titled "Clinical Trials Testing PSC-derived Products," delivering a presentation entitled "Cardiac Regeneration Using iPSCs," which will focus on Heartseed's ongoing clinical trials.
